Only what each purpose needs:

• Waitlist: your email, the site language, the form you used to join, the date you gave consent and the text you agreed to.
• Where your visit came from, if you join: campaign parameters in the link you arrived through (utm_*, gclid, gbraid, wbraid, fbclid), the domain of the site that linked you (the domain only, not the full address) and the first page of this site you visited.
• Technical data: your IP address and the information your browser sends with every request. We use it to serve the site, for security and to stop automated submissions.
• Analytics and advertising, only if you accept tracking cookies: Google Analytics and Google Ads identifiers and events. If you reject them, they are not loaded.
• If you write to us: your email and whatever you tell us in your message.

• Managing your place on the waitlist, confirming it and letting you know about early access, the launch and product news. Legal basis: your consent, given by ticking the form checkbox (GDPR art. 6(1)(a)).
• Knowing which channels and campaigns bring signups, using where your visit came from. Legal basis: our legitimate interest in measuring the reach of our communication with minimal, non-sensitive data (GDPR art. 6(1)(f)).
• Site analytics and ad measurement with Google cookies. Legal basis: your consent in the cookie banner, which you can withdraw at any time from "Cookie preferences".
• Protecting the site and the form against abuse and automated submissions. Legal basis: legitimate interest (GDPR art. 6(1)(f)).
• Answering your messages. Legal basis: your request and our legitimate interest in replying.

• Waitlist: until you leave it or, at most, 24 months after you joined if you have not created an account in the app by then.
• Proof of your consent: as long as we may need it to demonstrate consent in a claim, even after you leave.
• Analytics and advertising cookies: the periods listed in the cookie policy.
• Contact messages: as long as needed to help you and then for at most 12 months.

We do not sell your data or hand it to third parties for their own purposes. To run the service we use providers that process it on our behalf, under a data processing agreement:

• Vercel Inc.: hosting of this site.
• The infrastructure provider that hosts the Other Twist API and database, where the waitlist is stored.
• Brevo (Sendinblue SAS, France): sending waitlist emails.
• Google Ireland Ltd.: Google Analytics and Google Ads, only if you accept tracking cookies.

Some of these providers may process data outside the European Economic Area, particularly in the United States. In those cases the transfer relies on the EU-U.S. Data Privacy Framework or on the Standard Contractual Clauses approved by the European Commission.

You can ask at any time to access, correct or delete your data, to restrict its processing, to receive it in a portable format, and you can object to processing based on legitimate interest. You can also withdraw your consent whenever you want, without affecting what was processed before.

To exercise them, write to hola@other-tales.com, ideally from the email you used to join. We will reply within one month. If you believe we have not handled your request properly, you can complain to the Spanish Data Protection Agency (www.aepd.es) or to the supervisory authority where you live.

The waitlist is intended for people aged 14 and over. If you are younger, you need your parent or guardian's consent to join.

All traffic between your browser, the site and the API is encrypted (HTTPS). Access to the waitlist is restricted to the people who manage it, and we apply reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your data.

If we change this policy in a meaningful way, we will update the date above and, if it affects how we use your email, we will tell you by email before the change applies.
